Two charity football matches organised by Skipton Together FC have raised £2,100 for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
The fundraising kicked off in July with a match marking Skipton Together FC’s first anniversary and bringing members of the local football community together for a special tournament.
Skipton Together FC came away victorious on the day, while the event also helped raise vital funds for the hospice.
The club continued its fundraising efforts in September when it took on Bradford City Veterans in another charity fixture.
Bradford City Veterans secured the win on that occasion, but the match once again brought players and supporters together in aid of Manorlands.
The two events raised a combined £2,100 to support the hospice and its work caring for patients and their families.
Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice thanked everyone involved, saying:
“We want to say a huge thank you to Skipton Together FC for their incredible efforts in raising £2,100 through two recent charity football matches!
“Both matches brought the local football community together while raising vital funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
“Your dedication and hard work help ensure we can continue providing the care and support our patients and their families need.
“Thank you to everyone involved for making a difference.”
