A terrifying Halloween train experience is returning to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway later this month.
The Scare Train will take passengers on a journey through the Worth Valley after dark on Saturday 31st October, with live actors, frightening characters and unexpected scares along the way. The event is designed for thrill-seekers, with performers and special effects transforming the heritage railway into a Halloween attraction. Passengers will encounter characters and surprises throughout the journey, with the railway warning that every carriage, station and shadow could be hiding something sinister. The scares will continue after the train returns to Oxenhope, where a Halloween After Party will take place inside the Exhibition Shed. A live covers band will provide entertainment, performing classic singalongs and modern favourites. Tickets cost £35 per person and include a Day Rover, allowing visitors to travel along the railway and explore its museums earlier in the day. The event is advertised as an adults-only experience, although the railway's booking information states that those aged 16 and over can attend, provided under-18s are accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not permitted on the Scare Train. Further information and tickets are available through the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway website.
