Crews from Skipton supported North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service colleagues tackling a fire near Bentham this week.
On Thursday, a tractor and mower had caught on fire at Eldroth near Keasden in a field.
Crews from Skipton, Bentham and Kirby Lonsdale attended the scene at around 7pm.
The fire service extinguished the tractor fire with hose reel jets from the Kirkby Lonsdale engine with water pumped from both Bentham & Skipton units.
The fire caused a plume of black smoke which could be seen from neighbouring farms.
