Herriots Hotel is inviting people across Skipton to don their favourite pink outfit and support a special fundraising afternoon in aid of Breast Cancer Now this weekend.
The hotel's Wear Pink Afternoon Tea takes place on Sunday 5th July from 2pm until 4pm at Herriots Hotel in Skipton, with all proceeds supporting the charity, which has been named the hotel's Charity of the Year.
Guests will enjoy a traditional afternoon tea featuring a selection of sandwiches, homemade pink scones with jam and cream, and sweet treats including rhubarb and custard tarts, pink macarons and mini victoria sponge.
As well as the afternoon tea, the event will include a raffle and a talk from a representative of Breast Cancer Now, with guests encouraged to wear pink to show their support.
The fundraiser forms part of a wider campaign at Herriots Hotel to raise money for Breast Cancer Now throughout the summer.
Other fundraising activities include charity cakes on sale at the bar, with proceeds donated to the charity, and a Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge being undertaken by members of the hotel team on Saturday 11th July.
Tickets for the Wear Pink Afternoon Tea are £25 per person.
