Writer and performer Nigel Osner is bringing his one man show Too Young To Stay In, Too Old To Go Out! to Skipton this spring.
This character driven one-man show filled with original writing and music is heading to the Skipton Little Theatre on Friday 24 April.
Ageing: It happens to us all. On the one hand, there are daunting realities and cruel setbacks. On the other, there is pleasure to be had, celebration and the chance to keep evolving.
Written and performed by the “tremendously talented and very entertaining Nigel Osner” (The Scotsman), Too Young To Stay In, Too Old To Go Out! takes an entertaining look at dating, love, work, holidays, gym and sex for those no longer young.
Writer & Performer Nigel Osner says:
"In 2018, I was looking for a new show to take to the Edinburgh Fringe the following year. I realised that the issue of ageing creeping into my lyrics and monologues was the clue to the theme. My characters exemplify some of the challenges and occasional advantages of getting older. As for the title, it comes from getting ready to go out and then deciding it wouldn’t be a good idea or you just can’t be bothered. I do still go out occasionally though!"
