A new restaurant in Skipton has announced it will officially open its doors on Saturday 7th November.
Drift is preparing to welcome its first customers following months of work behind the scenes to get the venue ready.
The restaurant has been sharing updates on social media as preparations continue, including plans to install new signage and refurbish the front of the building.
The restaurant will be opening on Water Street where Calico Jacks once lived.
The exterior work is being carried out with the help of All Signage Ltd.
Announcing the opening date, the team at Drift said:
“We are delighted to announce that Drift will be opening its doors on Saturday 7th November!
“After months of work behind the scenes, we can't wait to welcome you to our restaurant.
“Thank you for all the support while we've been bringing Drift to life.
“We're looking forward to sharing it with you.”
To celebrate the launch, Drift is also running a competition offering one winner and three friends a three-course meal, including a bottle of wine for the table.
The restaurant said it had received positive feedback on its menu ahead of opening, with promotional images shared from its sister venue, The White Horse Inn at Thornton.
To enter the competition, customers are asked to follow Drift's Facebook page, share the competition post and tag three friends in the comments.
Entries close on Thursday 5th November, with the winner set to be announced on Saturday 7th November.
The competition is open to those aged 18 and over.
Bookings for the new restaurant are now being taken online, while customers interested in Christmas menu bookings can contact the team at info@driftskipton.co.uk.
