Two wedding photographers from Skipton have been named regional finalists in the Wedding Industry Awards 2027.
Jacqueline Louise Photography and Georgie Beck Photography are among just 24 photographers shortlisted across Yorkshire and the North East for Wedding Photographer of the Year.
For Jacqueline, it marks the second consecutive year she has reached the regional finals of the prestigious awards.
She shared her excitement via Facebook saying:
"A massive thank you to all of my couples who took the time to vote for me and leave such lovely feedback.
"It’s because of you and your kind words that I’ve made it through and I’m so grateful."
The Wedding Industry Awards recognise excellence across the wedding sector, with the process beginning with votes and feedback from couples who have booked the suppliers.
A panel of judges then selects the regional finalists based on the feedback received.
Jacqueline and Georgie, who are also friends, will attend the regional awards ceremony together at South Causey Inn in County Durham on Monday 9th November.
Georgie said:
"Having been Highly Commended in these awards previously, to make it through to the finals this time feels pretty special.
"There are so many incredibly talented photographers in the mix, so I’m feeling very proud (and slightly giddy!) to have made it this far."
The pair will be supporting each other on the night as they compete alongside some of the region's leading wedding photographers.
The regional winners will be announced at the ceremony next month.
