The founder of a Yorkshire women's health brand has been shortlisted for three national business awards.
Rachel Beck, who launched Vigor Vitamins in 2024, is celebrating the nominations just weeks after the company won Sustainable Business of the Year at the Keighley & Airedale Business Awards.
She is a finalist for Start-Up Business Woman of the Year and Health & Wellbeing Business Woman of the Year at The UK Women’s Business Awards 2026.
Rachel has also been shortlisted for Female Entrepreneur of the Year at The UK Small Business Awards 2026.
She launched the business without outside funding after turning 40 and taking a closer look at her own health.
Frustrated by supplement marketing and a lack of support for women experiencing hormonal changes, she developed a UK-made range aimed at women in midlife. Its multivitamin comes in a refillable Biophotonic Glass bottle.
In under two years, Vigor has grown to more than 50 independent stockists, including clinics, beauticians and gyms, through word of mouth and local networking.
Rachel also co-founded Thrive Circle, a monthly networking community for women in business.
Rachel said:
“I didn't set out to start a supplement company. I started Vigor because I knew something wasn't right, and I knew I couldn't be the only woman feeling that way.
“To be shortlisted alongside so many brilliant women from across the UK is a real pinch me moment for a small, self-funded business from Yorkshire.
"Every customer, stockist and woman at Thrive Circle who has backed us along the way is part of this.”
Both awards ceremonies will take place at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.
The UK Women’s Business Awards will be held on 18th December, when the National Top 10 will be revealed live on stage, followed by The UK Small Business Awards on 19th December.
