Skipton's business community came together last night as the winners of the 2026 Skipton Business Awards were revealed.
Hundreds of business owners and employees attended the annual ceremony at Skipton Town Hall on Monday (5th October). Organised by Skipton Business Improvement District (BID), the awards celebrate businesses and individuals making a contribution to the town, with winners announced across 12 categories. Skipton BID Manager Sarah Howsen said: “We take great pride in organising and delivering these awards every year to shine a spotlight on our brilliant local businesses. “All of the judges struggled to pick winners in each of the categories due to the high calibre of nominations, demonstrating the high standards within our town’s community. “A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors and everyone involved in the organisation of these amazing awards we couldn’t do it without you.” Share Skipton was named Skipton's Shining Star in recognition of its volunteers' contribution to the town.
