Silsden Beer Festival will not return to Town Hall next year

Silsden Beer Festival 2026.

Silsden Beer Festival will not return to Silsden Town Hall next year, after the venue confirmed it will no longer be able to accommodate the event.

The announcement comes after this year's festival attracted beer lovers to the town hall over the weekend of March 28th and 29thy.

The 2026 Silsden Beer Festival offered a selection of cask and keg beers from local breweries and beyond, alongside live music, food and other drinks for those who don't drink beer.

There was strong demand for this year's event, with Saturday tickets reported as sold out ahead of the festival, while Sunday tickets remained available.

The festival's future in Silsden is now uncertain after Silsden Town Hall confirmed that it will not be able to host the event again next year.

In a statement, the town hall said it was “saddened” not to be able to welcome the Beer Festival back.

Silsden Town Hall operates as a charity and relies on donations, grants and volunteers.

It said it needs to carefully assess private hire enquiries to ensure it can continue providing services to residents while protecting the future of the community building.

The town hall said the festival's growing and increasingly complex requirements meant it could no longer accommodate the event without affecting its existing long-term users, putting additional pressure on its resources or potentially operating at a loss.

The statement said:

“On this occasion, we have not been able to meet the growing and complex needs of the Festival without interrupting our long-term user groups, exerting our resources, or operating at a loss.”

“We look forward to seeing the Beer Festival thrive when it finds a new home in the town, and hope to see the business achieve a good profit for its organisers,”.

The decision means organisers will now need to find an alternative venue if they want the festival to return to Silsden next year.
