Skipton Rotary will be hosting a charity boat race next May.
The race will be held on 11th May 2025 at the lake at the Coniston Hotel from 10am until 4pm.
Participants will race in teams, paddling in synchrony on a long, narrow boat with a dragon head and tail, which is said to represent the mythical creature that brings good luck, prosperity, and happiness.
A spokesperson at Skipton Rotary said,
"Bring your friends, family, or colleagues together for an unforgettable day.
"There’s still time to grab our early bird discount and secure your team’s spot!
"Enjoy a thrilling day on the water, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and all for a fantastic cause."
Entrants will raise money for a charity of their choice.
There are limited entries left and early bird discounts are only available for a limited time.
If you are interested in applying, you can fill in the form here.
