North Yorkshire Council is hosting an investment workshop at Skipton Hotel on Wednesday 1st July from 8:30am until 10:30am as part of work to develop a new Skipton Town Investment Plan.
The plan will identify priorities for future investment to help strengthen the town's economy, infrastructure and business environment, with businesses encouraged to share their ideas on where funding should be focused.
It will consider areas including improving digital infrastructure, supporting town centre vitality, enhancing heritage and public spaces, promoting sustainable travel and improving health and wellbeing.
The workshop is open to businesses based in Skipton or those that rely on the town's infrastructure, facilities or resources. Breakfast, refreshments and networking will be provided.
The Skipton Town Investment Plan is supported by the Mayor of York and North Yorkshire, David Skaith, and funded by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
