Skipton Town Council are set to host Skipton's first outdoor cinema in the Canal Basin.
The cinema experience will take place from the end of July until September.
The dates of the screenings will be as follows:
- Thursday 30th July
- Friday 31st July
- Friday 4th September
Daytime screenings will start at 2:30 pm and will feature family-friendly films.
Skipton Town Council are asking for locals to cast their vote on what films should be shown.
Locals should pick from the below to be screened during the day:
- Paddington
- Madagascar
- Sing
- The Lorax
- Toy Story
- Lion King
And for films to be screened in the evenings:
- Back to the future
- Mama Mia
- Mrs Doubtfire
- Dirty Dancing
- Jaws
- Grease
