Police are appealing for witnesses after a road incident involving a 12-year-old boy.
It happened between 8:10am-8:30am yesterday (Thursday) when a car collided with the boy at a pedestrian crossing.
He was crossing from B&M towards Morrisons on Broughton Road.
The car has been identified to have been a white Toyota Yaris.
The boy sustained serious injuries to his foot as a result of the collision.
A police spokesperson said:
"We are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact them.
