Young footballers in Skipton have unveiled a brand new kit thanks to the support of a local fish and chip shop.
Yorkies Fish & Chips is sponsoring Skipton Juniors FC, with the Yorkies logo now appearing on the team's new shirts.
Players and their families recently visited the restaurant for a team lunch, where they were able to show off their new colours.
Sharing photos from the visit, Yorkies said:
“They can tackle, they can score… and apparently they can absolutely demolish a portion of fish & chips!
“Great having Skipton Juniors FC and their families in at Yorkies for a well-earned team lunch.
“Full tummies, big smiles and plenty of footy chat!
“Proud to sponsor these little legends!”
Yorkies is a family-run fish and chip business which opened its Skipton restaurant earlier this year.
The venue, at 86 High Street, opened in March and serves traditional Yorkshire fish and chips alongside a wider menu, with both takeaway and dine-in options.
The Skipton restaurant is intended to be the flagship location for the growing Yorkies business and includes a family-focused dining area.
Its sponsorship of Skipton Juniors FC sees the local business supporting grassroots football and young players in the town.
