Joining the High Street in Skipton will be a brand new bar, Nightshade replacing the Oxfam Bookshop.
Residents, Fred and Lillie have decided to open their cocktail bar in Skipton this festive season.
The development comes after their ownership of the local Dark Spiced Rum spirit brand .
'Nightshade' will be located on 20 High Street, Skipton.
Fred and Lillie explained on a Facebook post the reason for the name:
"We’ve named our cocktail bar Nightshade, in reference to that alluring, mysterious deadly poison.
"Something we wish to replicate within the bars design and atmosphere."
The pair aim to provide 'the highest level of customer service' and serve quality drinks.
The pair continued:
"We really can’t wait to get started on our own and to start serving you from our drink menu, becoming ever more engrained as a part of the Skipton Community.
"For now, the next few weeks are going to be very labour intensive as we get things ready, aiming to be open so you can all enjoy our Christmas cocktails!"
Fred and Lillie's brand, ‘The Selfish Spirits Company’, was launched in 2022 by Fred with the brand's aim to be an ethically conscious spirit brand boasting a Dark Spiced Rum.
Lillie joined soon after supporting Food & Drink festivals.
The team regularly takes part in charity fundraising events, aims for sustainability, and they often donate to charity,
Currently, renovations are taking place and Fred and Lillie are hoping to open in time for the festive season.
