Double celebration for Skipton's Beer Engine after CAMRA success

Award winning!

Skipton's Beer Engine is celebrating a double success after being crowned Yorkshire Pub of the Year by CAMRA.

The Albert Street micropub has added the regional title to its growing collection of awards, having already been named Keighley and Craven Pub of the Year for the third consecutive year.

The latest accolade means the Beer Engine is officially recognised as one of the best pubs in Yorkshire for its quality cask beer, welcoming atmosphere, service and overall customer experience.

CAMRA judges praised the pub's consistently high standards, with the award following months of judging by members from across the region.

The Beer Engine, run by directors Adam Davies and Steven Gregory, has become a favourite among real ale enthusiasts. The micropub offers six hand pumps serving a regularly changing selection of cask ales, alongside craft keg beers following an extension completed in 2022.

Winning the Yorkshire title now puts the Skipton venue in contention for further national recognition as CAMRA continues its annual Pub of the Year competition.

It's another significant achievement for the town's thriving pub scene and reinforces Skipton's reputation as one of Yorkshire's top destinations for real ale lovers.
