Discount Sports in Skipton will close after 7 years, its owners have announced.
Owners Tony and Ruth Eidsforth said the decision has been made with “heavy hearts”.
The shop, on Rope Walk in the town centre, is expected to close before the end of July, although a closing date has not yet been revealed.
In a post on social media, Tony and Ruth said:
“A huge thanks for your support - whether you’ve shopped with us once or a hundred times, it’s meant the world.
“Thank you to our amazing team (past and present) for their hard work and kindness.
“They’ll continue to look after you right until the end.”
The shop will be hosting a closing down sale with an additional 50% off everything in store
Tony and Ruth added:
“We still have lots of stock, so please pop in, grab a bargain and support us during these final few weeks.”
