Skipton Pride returns tomorrow (Saturday 8th August) for a day of live music, drag performances and family-friendly entertainment.
The free event is back following the success of last year's celebration, but will move to a new location at the Canal Basin and Coach Street Car Park for 2026.

When and where is Skipton Pride?
Skipton Pride takes place on Saturday 8th August at Coach Street Car Park and the Canal Basin in Skipton town centre.
The main entertainment programme gets underway at 12pm and runs until 7pm. Entry is completely free.
This year's move to a Saturday follows feedback from attendees and local businesses after the 2025 event, which was held on a Sunday.
Who is performing?
Chart-topping dance act Booty Luv will headline this year's event.
The duo are best known for hits including 'Boogie 2nite', 'Shine' and 'Some Kinda Rush'.
They will be joined by Gary Barlow tribute Pure Barlow, Berri – known for 1990s dance hit 'Sunshine After The Rain' – and Shania Twain tribute Maria.
Lost in Eve will open proceedings at midday, while Miss Coco Delinquent will also perform and host the event alongside James Cunningham.
The entertainment will continue throughout the afternoon before Booty Luv bring the main event to a close.
Is it family friendly?
Yes. Organisers have described Skipton Pride as a celebration of LGBTQ+ inclusion, diversity and community, with entertainment suitable for a multi-generational audience.
Last year's event received particularly positive feedback, with 94% of those surveyed saying it felt inclusive and welcoming to everyone.
Nine out of ten attendees also rated their experience four or higher out of five.
How much does it cost?
Skipton Pride is completely free to attend and no ticket is required for the main event.
Visitors can simply head to the Canal Basin and Coach Street Car Park to join the celebrations.
What happened last year?
Skipton Pride 2025 was held on the High Street and involved more than 70 partners, including volunteers, sponsors, community groups, stallholders, performers and local organisations.
Edwin Rothwell, Chair of Skipton Pride, previously said organisers had been "blown away" by the response to the event.
He said:
“We were delighted to bring the joy of Pride to a multi-generational audience from a mix of different backgrounds - and we were blown away by the positive feedback and responses we received.”
