A Yarn Trail running throughout North Yorkshire is set to return next week.
The North Yorkshire Yarn Trail, organised by Fiona Burks of 'Yarn Etc.' in Harrogate and Sharon King of 'Ewe and Yarn' in Thirsk, is back from 14th until 29th September.
Now in its third year, the event aims to celebrate local yarn shops across the county.
Thirteen shops are taking part, allowing visitors to pick up a map and tick off their visit on a unique yarn 'passport'.
Participating shops will also be putting on additional festivities including raffles, door prizes, special offers, knit and natter sessions and exclusive Hand Dyed Yarn Trail yarns.
Fiona Burks said:
“This celebration of local yarn shops, runs East to West and North to South across the most beautiful of counties, covering moor and dale, and visiting many of the stunning market towns to be found here.
“It’s a fabulous way for yarn crafters to discover what the range of Yarn Shops across North Yorkshire has to offer and explore the beauty of the county at the same time.”
Shops taking part are Ripping Yarns, Castle Stores, Each One Unique, Crafts of Thirsk, Ewe & Yarn, Knitting Pretty, Cottontail Crafts, Yarn Etc, Craftopia, Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Shop, Purl & Jane, Bugweeds and Spinning Jenny.
Follow each shop individually on social media for more details and North Yorkshire Yarn Trail on Facebook or Instagram (@north_yorkshire_yarn_trail).
