Nine-year-old Amelia-Rose Twilley has been chosen as the winner of the 2024 Airedale NHS Foundation Trust’s Christmas Card competition!
This year’s competition, organised in partnership with Airedale Hospital & Community Charity (AHCC), was open to children aged up to 12 years old who were asked to design a festive card that will be used as the Trust’s electronic Christmas card this year.
The winning design was chosen by the CEO of Airedale, ‘Foluke Ajayi from over 50 entries received.

‘Foluke says of the winning design: “It’s always difficult to choose one winner, especially amongst all the wonderful pictures that we received. Congratulations to Amelia-Rose - her design really stood out for its bright colours, and such a happy Santa with his reindeer friends. I want to thank all the children who entered this year’s competition, and to wish everyone a happy, healthy and wonderful Christmas.”
Laura Turner, from Airedale Hospital and Community Charity adds:
“We received a fantastic 52 submissions to our Christmas card competition this year and we’d like to express our sincerest thanks to everyone who submitted a design. They were all fantastic and it was very difficult for ‘Foluke to choose just one winner.”
