Skipton Together Football Club has announced a new fundraising partnership with Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, with every match between now and summer 2026 helping to raise money for local hospice care.
The community football club, which is known for supporting local causes, will dedicate each fixture to Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice in Oxenhope, aiming to raise around £500 each month.
Alongside regular matches, special events are being planned, including a high-profile game against Bradford City veterans and a season finale at Silsden featuring an all-star veterans' team and a family fun day, with hopes of raising thousands of pounds at each event.
Richard Osadzenko from Skipton Together FC said:
“We chose to support Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice because of the incredible impact it has had across Skipton and Craven.
“Many of our players and supporters have personal connections to the hospice, and it’s a cause that really resonates throughout the club and wider community. We couldn’t be prouder to be supporting such an incredible organisation that means so much to so many of us.”
Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice provides expert palliative care and bereavement support to people across West Yorkshire, helping families during some of life’s most difficult moments.
