Craven Community Boxing Club has been nominated for a Local Hero Award.
The boxing club based in Skipton and owned by Mark Shaw was recently named a finalist for 'Team of The Year' at Your Harrogate Radio's, Local Hero Awards.
Craven Community Boxing Club was nominated for its inclusive environment, welcoming all ages and abilities.
Owner, Mark Shaw is said to inspire leadership and commitment and has created a supportive, thriving team.
The Local Hero Awards with Harrogate Town AFC and the headline sponsor, O'Connor Chiropractic will take place today (Friday 8th May) at Rudding Park in Harrogate.
The event will see local celebrities including Duncan Wood and Christine Talbot and Emmerdale stars.
