From the 30th of November, Skipton BID is opening a special post office allow children to send their letters to Santa.
Children will be able to send their letters via the magical, talking post box every Saturday and Sunday until 22nd December.
Santa’s elves will be there to greet them and assist in writing the letters.
The transformation is thanks to Skipton Bid and Odin Events who will use props and decorations to make the space unrecognisable.
It'll be located in the unit next door to Pizza Express at the top of Skipton High Street.
Skipton Bid Manager, Sarah Howsen said,
“We are thrilled to be able to bring this free magical event to Skipton. Skipton BID bring free events to the town throughout the year so all children can experience fun and unique experiences.
“The North Pole Post Office allows every child to send their letter to Santa, and are guaranteed a response!
“It is a brilliant addition to the events calendar taking place for Christmas in Skipton and we thank Glentrool Asset Management Limited for supporting us with the use of the unit.”
This will be in addition to the Santa Fun Run and the Christmas Lights Switch On, taking place on the 24th of November.
