An appeal has been launched to help find a cat who has been missing from his home in Gargrave for seven weeks.
Rory is an all-white domestic medium-haired cat with yellow eyes and distinctive long canine teeth. He is microchipped and neutered and is known to roam around fields near his home. His owner Gina said Rory can sometimes appear less white than in photographs because of the time he spends exploring outdoors. Despite being missing for seven weeks, his family are continuing to search for him and are appealing for anyone who may have spotted him to get in touch. Gina said: “Rory is still missing from Gargrave. “He is not always as clean as this as he likes roaming the fields nearby. "He is chipped and neutered. “Missing now for seven weeks. "Please get in touch if there have been any sightings.” Anyone in Gargrave and the surrounding area is being encouraged to check sheds, garages, outbuildings and other places where Rory may have become trapped.
