Airedale Hospital & Community Charity are encouraging colleagues, visitors and patients to ditch the festive jumpers for festive socks on Friday 13th December.
They are asking each person to donate just £1 to charity and send in a photo of you and your friends in your socks to the charity.
Participants could be crowned the official ‘Sock Stars of 2024’.
Laura Hepworth, Community Fundraiser said:
“We want to make sure all our colleagues, visitors and patients across Airedale NHS Foundation Trust can join in with the festive fun. “Whilst Christmas jumper day has become a staple in the festive calendar, a lot of our clinical colleagues are unable to join in.
“Swapping jumpers to socks ensures everyone can get involved on the day.
She added,
“It’s a really simple idea that has grown over the years within the Airedale community.
“We had some fantastic ‘Sock Star’ entries last year so we can’t wait to see what you come up with for 2024.”
