A fleet of more than 25 vintage buses and coaches will take to the roads of Skipton next month as the town's popular Vintage Bus Running Day returns for its 20th anniversary.
The event will take place on Sunday 11th October, with restored vehicles from across the country running special services around Skipton and the surrounding area.
Some of the buses taking part date back as far as 1927, offering visitors the chance to see a piece of transport history in action.
The annual event is expected to attract transport enthusiasts, families and anyone with an interest in vintage vehicles and local heritage.
As well as travelling on the vintage buses, visitors will be able to see a selection of vehicles up close at Coach Street Car Park, where static displays will be held throughout the day.
Services will operate from Skipton Bus Station between 10am and 5pm, with the special services providing a chance to explore the area aboard the historic vehicles.
Organisers say the event offers something for all ages, with children able to see the restored buses up close while older visitors can enjoy the nostalgia and history surrounding the vehicles.
The 20th anniversary running day will take place on Sunday 11 October, with services starting and finishing at Skipton Bus Station.
Static vintage vehicles will be on display at Coach Street Car Park.
Further information about the event and the services running throughout the day is available from the organisers.
