America's Got Talent films at Bolton Abbey with Spice Girls stars

America's Got Talent have been filming at Bolton Abbey.

Bolton Abbey has revealed it welcomed the cast and crew of America's Got Talent to the estate for filming earlier this summer.

The popular US talent show filmed part of its new Judges' Callbacks round at The Tithe Barn, with former Spice Girls stars Mel B and Emma Bunton both taking part.

Leeds-born Mel B, who is a judge on the show, was joined by fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton as a guest judge to help decide which acts would progress to the live shows.

Acts performed in front of Scary Spice and Baby Spice at The Tithe Barn during filming on the Bolton Abbey estate.

The episode aired in the US earlier this month, with Mel B eventually choosing mentalists James & Marina, singer Bety and music duo Butter & Grit to progress.

Bolton Abbey said:

“A couple of months ago we welcomed the cast and crew of America’s Got Talent to the estate.

“Superstar and former Spice Girl Mel B (who is a local Yorkshire lass herself), is one of the show’s celebrity judges and was here filming for the ‘Judges Houses’ section of the programme.

“The stunning Tithe Barn set the scene for the acts to perform for both Scary and Baby Spice!”

The estate has now shared footage from the programme following its broadcast in the US:
