Skipton's St George's Day parade this weekend will feature scouts from across South Craven.
The parade will take place from 2:30pm on Sunday.
Scouting groups taking part include 3rd Skipton, 5th Skipton, 1st Embsay and Eastby, 1st Bradley and 1st Kildwick and Farnhill Scout Groups.
They will be joined by the South Craven District Explorer Unit.
Both the Skipton Groups were founded at the beginning of the 20th century when Scouting started, with 5th Skipton celebrating its110th birthday last year.
Around 200-250 young people and Scout leaders are expected to take part in the parade this weekend.
Skipton Town Council has advised people that there will be a number of road closures in place on Sunday afternoon - including the High Street for a period of around 30 minutes.
A spokesperson for the council told Your Skipton:
“We’d like to give advance notice that the St George’s Day Parade will be taking place this Sunday, 26th April, starting at 2:30pm.
"To ensure the safety of everyone attending, Petyt Grove, Brougham Street (from the junction with Petyt Grove), Newmarket Street, and High Street will be closed to traffic from 2:30pm to 3:00pm. During this time, it will not be possible to retrieve any vehicles left on the High Street.
"We are proud to be supporting this fantastic community event and assisting the local scout groups taking part.
"We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation and look forward to seeing residents come together to enjoy the parade.”
