Sam, better known as Smashby, mentioned the news on social media, after being voted out by his fellow housemates on Wednesday 5th November.
Sam, a Zumba instructor from Skipton, has faced much controversy on the show and was up for abrupt eviction off alongside fellow housemate Nancy during a fireworks display.
Viewers were given only 15 minutes to decide who they wanted to save, in what some are calling a 'pointless' backdoor eviction.
Sam survived three evictions on the show, after gaining attention following the removal of George Gilbert from the ITV show. Sam suffered mocking and bullying by George, before forming a close bond with Nancy, which itself brought controversy.
Talking about the eviction last night (6th November) on facebook, Sam said:
"I'm so happy that I finally got to live my BB [Big Brother] dream and smash-by my way into the house.
"The rule breaking delulu diva is ready to get back to being a secret popstar. Thank you so much for any support I've received out here, it means the world.
"NANCY FOR THE WIN."
The Big Brother final is set to air on ITV at 9pm on Friday 14th November.
