The annual Skipton Snapshot Festival, due to take place on Sunday 21st September along Skipton High Street, has been cancelled this year.
The event, organised by Skipton Town Council and known for showcasing local musicians, food vendors, stallholders, and community groups, will not go ahead as planned.
No official explanation has been issued by the organisers or the council regarding the cancellation.
The festival’s return had been anticipated following a successful version in 2024, which featured a main stage hosted by Your Skipton Radio presenter Alex Cann.
The event is said to return in spring.
Skipton Town Council announced the cancellation via Facebook saying:
"Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we are needing to postpone Snapshot until the Spring.
"We do apologies to those traders who had booked in for this but we will let you know the new date when we have one".
