Spellman Care, with homes in the Skipton area has been nominated for Independent Business of the Year at the 2026 Yorkshire Choice Awards.
The family-run group established in 1990, operates four care homes across the region, including Craven Nursing Home in Skipton and Ghyll Royd Care Home in Steeton.
Steven Spellman, Director of Spellman Care, said:

“For almost 36 years, our aim has been to provide high-quality care as a family-run independent provider.
“This nomination recognises the work of our dedicated team, who support residents and families every day.”
The Yorkshire Choice Awards are decided by a public vote.
