Craven Community Boxing Club organiser, Mark Shaw will be walking this June for charity.
The sponsored walk along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal is due to take place over three days in June to raise money for the Maverick Stars Trust.
The trust focus on supporting local teams and clubs to help young people develop in amateur and professional boxing.
The walk will begin on Thursday the 11th of June in Liverpool and finish in Leeds on Saturday, with the group expected to arrive at around 5pm.
The aim of the challenge is to raise £5,000 in support of the Maverick Stars Trust, which works with individuals to help structure and improve their lives through sport.
Funds raised will also support the Craven Community Boxing Club, with plans to refurbish and improve its facilities in 2026.
Additional funding will contribute towards staff training and education as the club continues to grow.
