Police are appealing for information following an assault near Skipton bus station in the early hours of Sunday the 1st of February.
The incident took place at around 12.30am, when a man was reportedly attacked by a group of young people.
The victim suffered serious facial injuries after being struck with what is believed to have been a bottle or a glass.
He was taken to hospital for treatment, including stitches to his face.
Officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, witnessed the incident, saw a group of youths nearby, or has any information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
