Embsay with Eastby Pre-school Playgroup is preparing to hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt later this month.
The charity-run nursery continues its efforts to raise funds to support affordable childcare in the local area.
Their Dino themed egg trail will take place Sunday 22nd March at Embsay Village Hall, from 10am until 1pm with last entry at noon.
Trail sheets will cost £3 each, and there will be prizes to be won across various age groups.
A decorated egg competition will also be held on the day, with entry priced at £1.
Alongside the egg trail, families can take part in a range of activities including craft sessions, a raffle, a chocolate tombola and face painting. Refreshments will be available, including breakfast butties, cakes and drinks.
The Easter event is one of the pre-school’s main annual fundraisers.
As a registered charity, Embsay with Eastby Pre-School Playgroup relies on events like this to help cover running costs and continue providing childcare for families in Embsay, Eastby and the surrounding areas.
Organisers say they are continuing to seek prize donations for the event and raffle, and are encouraging local residents to come along and support the fundraiser.
