Users of Skipton's leisure centre are now able to manage and book sessions via the Active North Yorkshire app ahead of next month's rebrand.
Online bookings have been available in the past, but this is the first time visitors to Craven Leisure can use a smartphone app and receive push notifications and reminders about events and offers.
If you already have a login for the website you can use the same details to login to the app.
A spokesperson said:
"We’re excited to be launching our Active North Yorkshire app in Skipton.
"The app will give you convenient access to our services and keep you up to date with what is happening on site."
Using the app you can book and manage classes and gym or group exercises classes. If a class is full, join the wait list and get notified instantly when a space opens. You can also access live timetables and track Learn to Swim progress, view centre info and membership options, and get push notifications for updates, events, and offers.
The changes come following the merger of local councils across the county, with Craven Leisure officially changing its brand name to Active North Yorkshire Skipton from next week (1st October).
New customers signing up for a membership will be issued Active North Yorkshire membership cards, while existing Craven Leisure cards will continue to work.
Casual users will need to start using the Active North Yorkshire website for bookings from 1st October.
