Skipton’s Christmas Light Switch-On will include a series of fundraising activities led by the Mayor of Skipton, Councillor Winston Feather.
The activities are to raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
Visitors will be able to take part in family-friendly games such as 'Guess the Teddy’s Name' and 'How Many Sweets in the Jar', with all proceeds going toward the charity.
The teddy used for the activities was donated by Teddy Boutique Boutique located on Mill Bridge.
Martin House Children’s Hospice provides care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across North, West and East Yorkshire.
The hospice offers respite stays, symptom management, end-of-life care and support for families, both at the hospice site and in the community.
Its team works to help families create memories and receive specialist support during extremely challenging times.
The switch-on event will take place on 30th November on the High Street, and the lights will be switched on at 5pm.
