Local schools, including Ermysted’s Grammar School have contacted parents warning of a fraudulent ParentPay app.
In an email to parents, Ermysted’s said it had been made aware of a fraudulent app that schools need to be aware of.
The ‘ParentPay AI Tools’ in the Apple App Store mimics ParentPay, the school says:
"Please ensure you do not download this app or any other similar apps claiming to be affiliated with ParentPay."
ParentPay does not have an app currently available for download from any app stores, and the company says they have taken swift action reporting the fraudulent app and are working closely with Apple to have this removed.
Parents and Carers should continue to us the website to manage accounts: www.parentpay.com
ParentPay is planning to release an app and will contact customers when it goes live.
