An exhibition celebrating the 200-year history of Craven College is continuing in Skipton as part of the college’s anniversary events.
The display is being held at Craven Museum in Skipton Town Hall and runs from Wednesday 15th April until Tuesday 30th June. Visitors can view a range of items from the college’s past, including archive photographs and materials that reflect its long-standing connection with the local community. Some exhibits also highlight activities and events that took place during the 200th anniversary celebrations. Craven College marked the milestone throughout 2025, and the exhibition forms part of ongoing efforts to share its history more widely across the area. The museum’s Community Case provides space for local organisations to showcase their work and collections as part of a programme of temporary displays throughout the year. The current exhibition offers an opportunity for residents and visitors to explore the role the college has played in the development of education in Skipton over two centuries. The exhibition is open to the public during Craven Museum’s usual opening hours, which can be confirmed with Skipton Town Hall. Members of the public who have memories or connections to Craven College are also being invited to share their experiences as part of the anniversary project.
