Residents across Skipton and the surrounding villages will once again be able to support a charitable cause while picking out their Christmas tree this year.
Lowfield Christmas Trees, located at Lowfield Farm Yard in Beamsley just outside Skipton, is preparing to open for its annual festive season sales in late November.
The farm has become a well-known stop for families across the Skipton and Wharfedale area looking for freshly cut Christmas trees.
The team grows and harvests Norwegian spruce trees on site.
Prices begin at £20, offering an affordable option for those wanting a real tree for the festive period.
Lowfield Christmas Trees operates with a charitable mission.
Since 2016, the team has raised more than £80,000 for Spinal Research.
The fundraising effort was launched by Rob Shelton, who sustained a severe spinal injury over 20 years ago that left him paralysed.
With the support of friends, family and the local community, Rob has continued to raise awareness and funds to support research into spinal injuries.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the farm once the season opens, select their Christmas tree and contribute to the continuing fundraising efforts.
The site also offers a friendly, traditional Christmas tree-buying atmosphere, and volunteers are often on hand to help customers choose and secure their trees for transport.
More information, including opening dates and updates, can be found on the Lowfield Christmas Trees Facebook group here.
