A new temporary CCTV camera has been installed at Skipton Bus Station following concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour in the area.
The installation took place on 26th November and forms part of ongoing work by the Community Safety Working Group. The project brings together several organisations, including Skipton Town Council, North Yorkshire Police, the North Yorkshire Community Safety Hub and additional partners, who have collaborated to respond to issues raised within the community. The aim of the new camera is to support safety in and around the bus station by increasing monitoring and providing an extra tool to help address reported problems.
