Airedale Hospital & Community Charity invited local people to Skipton Town Hall for a night of shopping, fashion and fun to raise funds for their Emergency Department Appeal.
The Big TLC, held on Wednesday 26th June, was born out of NHS Charities Together’s Big Tea, and is an Airedale take on this national fundraising initiative.
The evening saw fashion students from Craven College show off their end of year designs.
Tutor, LauraLee Brennand said:

“It’s great to see so many groups of wonderful people from our community come together for The Big TLC. Big thanks to Laura Hepworth for inviting us to join in for the second year and for organising this fabulous fashion show.”

Independent Silsden store Boutique Ole owner Jo Mount brought her models to the runway to show new summer stock.
She said:
“It was a fantastic evening, my models loved taking to the runway and I felt very honoured to have been asked to take part in such a great event.”
“It’s fantastic to see the funds raised going towards such a worthy appeal! A huge thank you from me to everyone that got involved.”
The event saw local businesses Herd and Hive, Peonies of CrossHills and more set up stalls for some light shopping before the evenings models took to the runway.

Community Fundraiser Laura Hepworth said:
“It has been fantastic to see the success of this years event following on from the first one last year. Together we have raised over fantastic £700 for the Emergency Department Appeal.
“Thank you to everyone for coming to the event, supporting the event and of course Craven College, Boutique Ole and their fabulous models. The evening was a complete triumph thanks to you.”
