Skipton Business Awards will return for 2024 in recognition of exceptional talent in the business community.
Organised by Skipton BID, these Awards are your chance to say a very big thank you to your favourite shops, pubs, restaurants and service providers.
By nominating businesses, you are showing support for the town and helping to celebrate the hard work put in by so many to provide excellent services for those living in and visiting Skipton.
The awards night will celebrate everything from Best New Business to the Long Service Award and this year there is a new category to celebrate the best of Customer Service.
BID Manager Sarah Howsen says, "We are thrilled to be able to launch the 2024 Skipton Business Awards. Last year was a huge success, it is a great way to celebrate the truly excellent businesses we have in our town. We know what an amazing range of businesses we have, and this is a chance for the public to say thank you to their favourite business too. This year we have included the Long Service Award to say an extra big thank you to those businesses which have traded in and supported Skipton for more than 20 years. I’m sure it will be another fabulous evening when the winners are announced in October.
"We are asking that people nominate any business they believe go above and beyond to fly the flag of excellence and make the town somewhere special for residents and visitors. All businesses can enter as long as they are based in Skipton. At the first stage anyone can make a nomination and businesses can put themselves forward. The nomination stage is simple, you have to simply say which business you are nominating and in more than 100 words explain why."
Public nominations should be made before the cut-off date of 9th July. The nominations will then be longlisted before an independent judging panel makes the shortlist of three business per category.
To nominate your favourite business simply visit skiptonbid.com/skipton-business-awards/, choose the award category, nominate your business and explain why you think they should win.
