Yorkshire family run business, Spellman care have announced its official support to Airdale Hospital & Community Charity's Easter Appeal this year.
Yorkshire family-run business, Spellman Care, has announced its official support for Airedale Hospital & Community Charity’s 2026 Easter Appeal, which aims to provide every patient staying in the hospital over Easter with a special gift.
The business, which has been running for 35 years in the region, is acting as a key collection partner across the region to help provide the best possible care for patients.
Spellman Care is a company that prides itself on kindness, dignity, and compassion: values that are strongly reflected in the appeal.
Spellman Care has already started receiving support from the community.
Gift baskets filled with Easter eggs, games, and activities have begun filling home and the business cannot thank those who have donated enough for their kindness.
Philippa Young, Operations Manager at Spellman Care, said:
"We are absolutely thrilled to be supporting the Airedale Hospital & Community Charity’s appeal this year. Our teams and residents always look forward to these collaborative efforts, and seeing the baskets already starting to fill up is a wonderful testament to the generosity of our local community. At Spellman Care, we believe that small acts of kindness can make a significant difference, and we are proud to help Airedale Hospital bring a little extra joy to their patients this Easter."
Spellman Care is determined to continue its run of successful drives.
They have previously collected presents for the Secret Santa Appeal and provided handbags for the Love Grace Appeal, supporting victims of domestic abuse.
Any donation is hugely appreciated. It not only brightens a patient’s day, month and year, it also reminds them that people care about them.
If you would like to support the Airedale Hospital appeal, donations can be dropped off at the following Spellman Care locations:
- Craven Nursing Home, Skipton
- Ghyll Royd Care Home, Guiseley
- Springbank Care Home, Silsden
- Steeton Court Nursing Home, Steeton
The deadline for all donations to be delivered to these locations is 29 March 2026.
All items collected will be handed over to the Airedale Hospital & Community Charity for distribution to patients.
