Organisers of Skipton Gala have announced the Gala Queen and attendants who will represent the event during the lead-up to next year’s celebrations.
Amelie Beilby has been named Gala Queen for 2026, with Amber Robson and Darcie Stanley selected as her attendants.
The announcement followed a selection evening held in Skipton, where judges met a number of applicants and considered their enthusiasm, confidence and involvement in the local community.
Organisers said the standard of applicants was high this year, making the final decision a difficult one for the judging panel.
They also thanked everyone who took part in the selection process.
The selection evening was hosted at Alexander’s, with organisers expressing their appreciation to the venue for hosting the event.
The Gala Queen and her attendants will represent the town at a range of community events in the months leading up to the next Skipton Gala.
Organisers say the event continues to be one of the most established community celebrations in the town, bringing together residents and visitors each year for a day of festivities and activities.
