The countdown to Christmas is on and every town and village is getting ready.
A number of Christmas lights switch on events are taking place across our area, with some towns and villages offering a host of entertainment as they welcome visitors to their town centres.
Here's our guide to all the light switch-on events in the Craven area...
Skipton Christmas Light Switch-On :
When: 24th November at 5pm. The build-up starts from Noon on the Your Skipton stage, straight after the Great Skipton Santa Fun Run!
Where: High Street
More: Free entry for all and live entertainment. There will also be market stalls and food and drink outlets on the High Street.
Silsden Christmas Market and Switch-On:
When: 24th November from 10am-6pm, switch on at 5pm
Where: Silsden Town and Town Hall
More: After the switch on attendants will head back to the Town Hall for some delightful brass band music and refreshments.
Addingham Switch-On:
When: 23rd November from 1pm-5 pm
Where: The Swan Car Park, Addingham
More: Christmas Market will be followed by the Christmas Lights Switch On. Local businesses will offer hot food & drinks, lampshades, cards, cushions, homewares, liqueurs, cakes, jams, wooden decorations, fudge, knitwear, and mulled wine outdoors.
Steeton and Eastburn Light Switch-On:
When: 24th November from 3pm
Where: Cornmill Green, Mill Lane
More: Including a raffle, games, stalls, music and Santa!
