The Skipton Gala is taking place tomorrow (Saturday 13th June).
The Skipton Gala shared this morning that the fireworks display which takes place each year at the Gala would not be taking place.
They shared the news via Facebook this morning saying:
"Sadly, due to the rising costs associated with using Aireville Park for the Waddingtons Fun Fair at Skipton Gala, there will be no fireworks display at this year's Gala.
"Marshal and the team have always been proud to provide a fireworks display as part of the celebrations, and we know this will be disappointing news for many visitors."
The rest of the celebrations and fun will still take place including the fun fair.
Skipton Gala is set to start at 11am tomorrow morning with the theme, 'Around the World'.
Your Skipton's, Alex Cann will be hosting the event on stage.
