Entry for this Sunday's Great Skipton Santa Fun Run has now closed, with a highest-ever 2,500 people set to take part.
The record-breaking total was reached on Tuesday night (25th November) when the final few places were snapped up by runners.
The 16th Great Skipton Santa Fun Run will set off from Skipton High Street on Sunday morning (30th November) at 11am, with a 5km route for runners and a 3km route for wheelchairs, pushchairs, walkers and dog walkers.
Organisers from the Rotary Club are reminding participants that race numbers need to be collected in advance - as well as Santa t-shirts and hats if required.
These can be collected on Saturday between 9.30am and 3.30pm from Tesco in Skipton - or from outside the Town Hall on Sunday morning between 9am and 10.30am before the event.
Those attending can use the Skipton Building Society car park on The Bailey in return for an optional donation, this will be open from 9am.
A baggage drop facility is also available at the Black Horse function suite this year, in return for a £1 donation to Marie Curie.
On Sunday morning, the Your Skipton stage will be up and running with music from around 10am as people arrive. There will be an on-stage welcome at 10.35am, followed by the warm-up, before runners set off at 11am.
Following the Santa Run a full afternoon of festive entertainment will be available in Skipton Town Centre, with music, dance and drama performances on the Your Skipton stage, building up the switch-on of the Christmas lights at 5pm and a firework display.
