The maintenance team on the Bolton Abbey Estate have warned walkers that Cavendish Bridge, outside the Cavendish Pavilion, will be closed tomorrow, 11th February, for annual repairs.
The closure means there will be no pedestrian access.
The work will be completed on the day and the bridge will be open as usual on Thursday.
A spokesperson said:
"Please note that on Wednesday 11th February the Cavendish Bridge will be closed all day to allow annual maintenance works to be completed.
"Please be mindful of this closure when planning your walking route. Thank you."
