The Principle Trust Children's Charity raised over £5,000 with help from Land Rover Experience.
The fundraiser was organised by The Principle Trust Children's Charity in partnership with Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire, and took place on Thursday 19th March at Broughton Hall Estate.
Teams took part in a range of activities throughout the day, including team-building challenges, geocaching and off-road driving experiences led by instructors from Land Rover Experience.
Participants also completed a vehicle-based gymkhana course designed to test accuracy, speed and control.
The event was supported by Land Rover Experience North Yorkshire and The Bull at Broughton, with entry fees contributing directly to the charity’s work.
Catering was provided across the day, beginning with breakfast at The Bull at Broughton, followed by lunch at the Land Rover Experience centre and an evening meal alongside a prize-giving.
Mike Davies, founder of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity, said:
“It was a positive day that brought teams together through a range of activities while raising important funds.
“We are grateful to everyone who supported and took part in the event.”
The charity, which was established in 2011, provides respite breaks for children facing a range of challenges, including illness, disability and difficult home circumstances.
It currently operates several respite homes across locations including Blackpool, Filey and the Lake District, supporting hundreds of families each year.
